The top of the Lost Mine Trail in Big Bend National Park offers one of the prettiest views in this area. Here, the sun is setting over the distant peaks of the Chisos Mountains. Below, Juniper Canyon stretches south towards Mexico. This Texas national park is one of my favorites to visit, and it seems there is always something new to discover among the vast diversity of ecosystems found here.
