A storm had passed over the Texas Hill Country just an hour before this bluebonnet image was taken. Now, the air was still and quiet, and the fading sun left pinks and blues in the evening sky. Along a dirt road, this field of Texas state wildflower - a sea of blue petals - stretched to the treeline in an amazing display of Spring beauty.
