I had hiked up to shoot Colorado wildflowers at sunrise. After the sun appeared and then disappeared behind the clouds, I moved to a small snow-fed stream to work that area. I found this little patch of pink Parry's Primrose with a soft pastel sky in the background and couldn't resist seeing what sort of Colorado images I could take home with me.

This little landscape comes from Butler Gulch, one of my favorite places close to my house in Winter Park.
