The Texas Hill Country is full of amazing views, especially in the spring. Here, atop Turkey Peak in Enchanted Rock State Natural Area prickly pear cacti bloom in the late afternoon. In the distance is Freshman Mountain and Buzzard’s Roost. The short scramble to reach this modest summit made for spectacular scenery.
