Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Amazing light came on quickly over Palo Duro Canyon’s Lighthouse hoodoo. I had walked the 3 miles to this point and was rewarded with a wonderful sunset. The walk back under a full moon was surreal.
